The time has come to say goodbye to our MOTIVATE! participants, and we are looking back on a remarkable year full of exchange, community, and digital collaboration.

At our final house session on 17 June, all the students came together one last time to revisit our time together, the ideas shared, the new perspectives gained, and the friendships formed, and to celebrate how much they had grown along the way!

Through lively discussions and shared reflection, the group explored what they had learnt about intercultural exchange, teaching practices, and international collaboration, and how these insights could continue to inspire them in future classrooms, studies, and professional lives.

A particularly memorable moment was when they wrote a letter to their future selves, providing a personal reminder of their goals, experiences, and the mindset they wish to maintain on their future journey.

We also put them in the role of MOTIVATE! leaders and asked them to redesign the programme. Their reflections will help us to continue developing MOTIVATE! and ensure that future programmes are even more rewarding. Thank you so much for your contributions!

While it is always sad to see the programme come to a close, it has been a real joy to meet such a diverse range of educators, be part of their journey, and see how much they have grown. But even the sweetest times have to come to an end, so we must say farewell – for now;)

Now we are excited to look ahead for the next round starting in October. See you there!
