Hey future teachers!

Do you want to take your training to the next level and gain international experience in the process? Then say hello to MOVE IT! After a successful launch, we are thrilled to announce that MOVE IT! has been funded by the DAAD for a further five years! So the program is kicking off its second round, and we’ve got even more exciting content lined up for you.

What is MOVE IT!?

MOVE IT! aims to promote the internationalisation of teacher training. You don’t want to or can’t go abroad during your studies? No problem! At the heart of the programme is MOTIVATE! – an innovative digital tandem format. Here, student teachers from Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Australia and, in the future, South Africa and Turkey pair up and work together in tandems.

Every month, you will meet digitally with your tandem partner and the group and discuss topics that are important for your future career as a teacher, such as digitalisation in the classroom, heterogeneity and inclusion, sustainability in education, the influence of social media on education, educational justice – in other words, the things that concern teachers all over the world. Benefit from the internationality of the group and the intercultural exchange to broaden your perspectives and prepare for your teaching career with fresh ideas!

The Summer School – highlight of the year!

An absolute highlight is the one-week summer school, which takes place in a different country every year. In 2024, for example, we went to Trondheim in Norway! We enjoyed inspiring talks, exciting excursions, engaging workshops, and, of course, some time to relax and explore this beautiful city.
